The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has announced an extension of the admission schedule for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) 1st Annual Examinations 2026. According to an official notification issued by the Higher Education Department in Lahore, the committee approved revised deadlines for the submission of admission forms for HSSC Part II exams, which are scheduled to begin on May 20, 2026.
Under the updated schedule, students can now submit admission forms with a single fee from January 19, 2026, to February 19, 2026. Previously, the last date for single-fee submission was February 11. For candidates submitting forms with a double fee, the new period is from February 20 to March 2, 2026, whereas earlier it was February 24. Meanwhile, students applying with a triple fee now have until March 12, 2026, compared to the previous deadline of March 9. These extensions aim to provide students with additional time to complete their applications and ensure a smooth preparation process for the upcoming exams.
The notification also outlined tentative dates for the results of HSSC exams. The results for HSSC Part I, which covers 11th Class, are expected to be announced on September 23, 2026. Meanwhile, the results for HSSC Part II, covering 12th Class, are likely to be published on October 22, 2026. These dates will allow students and educational institutions to plan ahead for the next academic session and manage preparations for further studies or university admissions.
The PBCC emphasized that the revised schedule is intended to facilitate students and ensure a fair and organized process for the HSSC exams. Candidates are advised to adhere to the updated deadlines to avoid any inconvenience and to complete all formalities in time for the scheduled exams.
