The Punjab government has declared a holiday for all private and public universities and colleges in the province on Friday (tomorrow), as per an official notification.
The notification, issued on Thursday, also states that Section 144 will be enforced in the province for the next two days—October 18 and 19.

This regulation prohibits all forms of protests and rallies throughout the province.
