Each leader was granted bail against surety bonds of Rs500,000. During the bail hearing, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri emphasized that the court treats all individuals, whether pushcart vendors or others, equally.

Qureshi and Umar, accompanied by their legal representatives, appeared before the court. The public prosecutor alleged that proper procedure was not followed while filing the petitions for Qureshi and Umar. However, the judge noted that the petitioners were solely responsible for their own actions and were unrelated to the co-accused. The judge further stated that if the conditions suggested by the public prosecutor were applied, it would impede individuals from filing their pleas.

The special prosecutor requested an adjournment for Qaiser’s case, but the court rejected the plea. The court also pointed out that no witness had mentioned Qaiser’s name, emphasizing that the law applied equally to all, regardless of political affiliation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
