The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political committee, led by Barrister Gohar, has announced a nationwide protest on Friday in opposition to the recent constitutional amendments. The party vowed strong resistance and emphasized the mistreatment of its founding chairman, Imran Khan.

In its statement, PTI instructed regional and local organisations to organize peaceful protests outside district headquarters following Friday prayers. The protest aims to rally against the constitutional changes and express dissatisfaction over the handling of Imran Khan’s case.

The committee firmly rejected the government’s attempt to alter the constitution, urging all supporters of constitutional supremacy to participate in the demonstrations. They committed to preventing the amendments from passing in Parliament.

Additionally, PTI demanded the immediate release of detained leaders, including Imran Khan’s sisters, Aleema and Uzma Khanum, Advocate Intizar Hussain Panjotha, and other key members. They also called for the restoration of Imran Khan’s fundamental rights and access to his family and legal team.
