PTI Given Conditional Approval for Islamabad Rally

The Islamabad district administration has granted conditional approval for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally on September 8, under the condition that no sit-in will be allowed. According to the official notification, the administration provided an approved route plan along with 41 conditions for the event.

Attendees will follow separate routes based on their regions of origin. Workers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab arriving via the Motorway will follow a specific route, while those using GT Road from Punjab will be directed along a different path. Additional routes have been arranged for participants from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Murree.

The rally is set to start at 4:00 PM and will conclude by 7:00 PM. The administration emphasized that the fundamental rights of citizens must be upheld, and sit-ins will not be tolerated. The permission is strictly for September 8, and all participants are required to return home the same evening.

Organizers are also responsible for ensuring the internal security of the event. The notification strictly prohibits speeches or slogans that incite anti-state sentiments or religious hatred.
