Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has described the action taken against Lieutenant General (R) Faiz Hameed as an internal matter of the Pakistan Army. Hameed, the former Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), has recently been taken into military custody, and a field court martial process has been initiated against him.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Army carried out a thorough inquiry into complaints against Hameed, as directed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The investigation, connected to the Top City case, resulted in the initiation of disciplinary proceedings under the Pakistan Army Act.
