[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In March 2023, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) received 17,092 complaints from telecom consumers against various telecom operators and cellular operators, of which 16,956 (99.2 percent) were resolved.
Various telecom operators, including cellular mobile operators (CMOs), Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL), long-distance international (LDI) operators, wireless local loop (WLL) operators, and internet service providers (ISPs), received complaints in March, according to official data.
Cellular mobile subscribers account for a sizable portion of the total telecom subscriber base. As a result, this segment receives the greatest number of complaints. By March, the total number of complaints against CMOs had reached 16,547, with 16,460 (99.5 percent) addressed.

According to PTA data, 7684 complaints were filed against Jazz, with 7,673 (99.9%) of them being resolved. Furthermore, Telenor received 3,081 complaints, of which 3,078 (99.9%) were resolved. Similarly, Zong received 3,964 complaints, of which 3,948 (99.6 percent) were addressed. Ufone received a total of 1,810 complaints, of which 1,754 (96.91 percent) were resolved.
PTA also received 141 complaints about basic telephony, of which 121 were resolved in March, for an 85.8 percent resolution rate. In addition, 395 complaints were received against ISPs, with 367 (92.9 percent) being addressed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
