The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 is expected to continue without major delays, as all six franchises are set to depart for Dubai tonight.
Amid rising political tensions between India and Pakistan, sources confirm that a special chartered flight will transport foreign players and officials from Islamabad to Dubai, followed by local players in a second phase. Security protocols are being closely followed to ensure a smooth transition.

The shift comes after the abrupt cancellation of the 27th match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings in Rawalpindi, highlighting the urgency of the situation. The PCB acted swiftly, securing Dubai as the new venue for the final matches—including playoffs—overnight on May 8.
While an updated schedule is yet to be released, it is expected once all teams arrive safely in the UAE. Only four league matches and four playoff fixtures remain, and the relocation aims to offer a secure and neutral setting to conclude the tournament.
Dubai, familiar territory for PSL matches from earlier seasons and the pandemic period, is now set to host the crucial final phase. The relocation also raises questions about whether Pakistan’s upcoming series against Bangladesh may also be shifted to Dubai.
Despite the off-field tensions, the hope remains that cricket will bring a temporary return to normalcy as the league progresses in its new venue.
