Babar’s 50-point performance in just 24 balls is the fastest of his T20 career.

The right-handed batter scored 73 off 39 balls to help Zalmi score 242-6 in 20 overs. It was also his 83rd 50+ score in T20s.

The captain of the national team received praise on Twitter for his outstanding performance, which also included a better strike rate.

A user stated: “Tonight, Babar Azam spoke with the most ease. His T20 career, which has witnessed 83 runs of fifty or more, saw him reach that mark in 50 off 24 balls!”

Babar and Saim Ayub, the Zalmi squad’s openers, set the ideal tone for their team to post another high total.

They both contributed 134 runs to Zalmi’s 242-6 total in 20 overs, which is now the second-highest total in the PSL this season.

Saim once again led from the front, scoring fifty with a higher strike rate than the captain. Saim made 58 off 33 while Babar made 73 runs, including nine boundaries and two maximums.

Mohammad Haris, the wicket-keeper for Peshawar, scored 35 runs in just 11 balls, adding significant runs to the team’s high total. In the end, Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored 38 runs off 18 balls, which was a powerful performance.
