Want Urdu Commentary PSL 11 Brings Cricket Closer to Fans

The Pakistan Cricket Board has launched a dedicated Urdu-language broadcast for PSL 11. This new feed will provide ball-by-ball commentary and expert analysis in Urdu, making the league more accessible to local fans.

The move comes as PSL 11 continues to grow in popularity. The PCB recently secured its largest-ever broadcast rights deal for the league’s new cycle, highlighting increasing demand and viewership. The Urdu commentary aims to enhance engagement and connect with a broader audience.

To support the Urdu feed, the PCB has appointed a seven-member commentary panel. Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik, who has played in all ten previous PSL editions, will join the Urdu commentary team for the first time. He will be accompanied by former captains Salman Butt and Sana Mir.

The panel also features experienced commentator Tariq Saeed, former women’s international Marina Iqbal, and voices of the new generation, including Shah Faisal and Ayaz Chaudhary.

PSL 11 is scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3, maintaining its position as Pakistan’s premier T20 league. The addition of Urdu commentary alongside English coverage is expected to improve accessibility for fans nationwide.

Experts say the Urdu feed will allow more viewers to follow matches closely. It is especially useful for fans who prefer commentary in their native language. The initiative reflects the PCB’s efforts to modernize broadcasts and expand PSL’s reach.
