KARACHI – The PSL 11 franchise from Sialkot has officially unveiled its name and logo. Owner Kamil Khan announced the team as Sialkot Stallionz on Wednesday.

OZ Developers purchased the franchise for Rs1.85 billion during the auction held on January 8. Fans had widely speculated that the team would carry the historic Sialkot Stallions name.

Khan took to X to confirm the news, saying: “You guessed it. You waited. Now, I am proud to officially introduce SIALKOT STALLIONZ.” He expressed excitement about joining Pakistan’s premier cricket league.

The PSL 11 franchise will compete in the upcoming season, which officially begins on March 26, 2026. Faisalabad has been added as an additional venue, marking the city’s return to hosting league matches.

The franchise’s name honors the former domestic team “Sialkot Stallions,” which achieved remarkable success in Pakistan cricket. Between 2005 and 2012, the team won six National T20 Cup titles and recorded a world-record 25-match unbeaten streak. They remain the most successful side in Pakistan’s domestic T20 history.

This announcement follows the Pakistan Cricket Board’s introduction of the player auction system for the first time in PSL history. The new framework allows each PSL 11 franchise to retain a maximum of four players, with one player per category. Previously, teams could retain up to eight players, including a mentor and brand ambassador, and had a right to match a ninth player in the draft.

Fans have welcomed the revival of the Stallions brand, praising the franchise for honoring Pakistan’s cricketing legacy. The team is expected to draw strong support both locally and nationally. Learn more about how the PSL 11 auction brings major category changes for players and affects team strategies.

The unveiling of the logo and name completes the first major step for the Sialkot team ahead of the PSL 11 season. Preparations are underway to build a competitive squad under the new auction system.

The PSL 11 franchise aims to replicate the domestic success of the Stallions while making its mark in the premier T20 competition. Excitement continues to build as cricket fans await the league’s March kickoff.
