According to official sources, the updated DC rates have officially come into effect. Under the new framework, property sellers are now subject to a federal tax of 4.5 percent on the sale of their properties. Meanwhile, buyers will be required to pay a 1.5 percent withholding tax at the time of purchase.
Effective immediately, all property transactions across Punjab will be carried out based on these revised rates.
