Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, who began her career in Bollywood and is now a recognized Hollywood star, recently shared insights about her journey at the Bridge Summit in Abu Dhabi.
Priyanka Chopra reflected on the early challenges in her career, including six consecutive film flops. She explained that opportunities were often removed from her, forcing her to pivot. “My pivots were never about choice; they were a lot about survival,” she said, highlighting the struggle of establishing herself in a competitive industry.
She also spoke about her early years, saying she accepted every role because every opportunity felt like a privilege. She traveled constantly and missed key family milestones to work. Today, she makes choices intentionally, considering the impact on her family, mental health, and long-term goals.

She later appeared in Hollywood films including Baywatch, The White Tiger, Love Again, and The Matrix Resurrections. She also produces films under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures, solidifying her international status.
