President Zardari also directed PPP leaders to intensify efforts for party reorganization. Barrister Hasan proposed appointing competent and ideologically committed workers to key organizational positions to strengthen the party’s structure.

In a separate meeting with PPP Central Executive Committee member Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, discussions focused on labor welfare, including proposals to raise the minimum wage to Rs50,000 and double EOBI pensions in the upcoming budget.

“A society cannot progress without relieving the burdens on its laborers,” President Zardari remarked, expressing confidence that the government would prioritize workers’ welfare in its budgetary decisions.
