President Zardari Calls for Aid to Flood Victims

President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep grief over the devastation caused by floods during heavy monsoon rains across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

In his statement, he extended condolences to the families who lost loved ones and assured full government support for all affected citizens. He acknowledged the heavy losses of lives, crops, and livestock, while showing special concern for farmers whose livelihoods were destroyed.

President Zardari praised the armed forces and rescue teams for their tireless relief efforts, calling their service a remarkable example in this crisis. He also directed the Sindh government to stay alert for potential flood surges and take preventive measures to reduce further damage.

Recalling the resilience shown during the 2010 and 2022 floods, Zardari said Pakistanis have the strength and willpower to overcome such challenges. His words of solidarity have offered hope to victims and farmers struggling with the disaster.
