US President Donald Trump has confirmed plans to visit Saudi Arabia within the next month and a half, following a major agreement with Riyadh to invest $1 trillion in American companies. Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump outlined the details of the deal, which will see Saudi Arabia spend the sum over four years, primarily in the defense sector and other key investments in US businesses.
Trump emphasized the strong relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia, recalling previous investments totaling $450 billion during his first term. He described the relationship as “great,” crediting the Kingdom’s growing wealth and its continued partnership with the US.

The visit comes as both nations seek to bolster their economic ties, with substantial deals in military equipment and other industries. Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, also confirmed that Saudi Arabia will host a meeting between US and Ukrainian officials to discuss the ongoing conflict with Russia.
In addition, Trump hinted at an upcoming decision regarding the temporary legal status of over 200,000 Ukrainians currently residing in the US, with an announcement expected soon.
