[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Sunday, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) made a decision to nominate party representatives in Punjab for the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8, 2024. The PPP leadership emphasized that they intend to contest in every constituency of the National or provincial assembly in Punjab.
According to sources, as part of the PPP’s political strategy, the directive is to have party representatives stand in constituencies where the party hasn’t identified suitable candidates for the elections. This strategic approach has been formulated following the instructions of the party chairman.

In line with this strategy, party officials submitted a report detailing their interactions with politicians who were denied tickets by the PMLN-league. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto directed that individuals aligning with the party’s program and principles should be welcomed into the party.
Bilawal Bhutto chaired a meeting where it was decided that the PPP would finalize its candidates for all constituencies within a week. Further consultations with provincial organizations are scheduled for Bilawal Bhutto’s arrival in Lahore on Monday.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
