PPP Addresses Public Issues, Affirms Asif Ali Zardari

On Friday, Asif Ali Zardari, the co-Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), affirmed that his party has consistently endeavored to address the challenges faced by the masses and is prepared to serve the people of the country. In a statement, the former president reiterated the enduring significance of the slogan “Roti, Kapra aur Makan,” underscoring its deep connection to the PPP’s core principles and values.

Zardari emphasized that the PPP has always sought to address the concerns of the masses and has propelled itself forward, citing numerous sacrifices and emphasizing the foundational role of martyrs’ blood. He claimed that no other political party has sacrificed more than the People’s Party to fulfill its manifesto and expressed readiness to serve the people with renewed vigor and a sense of duty.

Furthermore, the PPP co-Chairman advocated for digitization to ensure transparency and good governance, particularly in sectors such as food, education, and health. He noted the PPP’s commitment to women’s rights and called for the strengthening of anti-harassment laws with ensured implementation.

These statements were made during a meeting with the PPP’s Punjab leadership in Lahore, where discussions focused on the party’s strategy for the upcoming general elections. Zardari announced that the PPP would independently contest the upcoming elections and highlighted the numerous requests for party tickets from every constituency. He pledged to allocate tickets to the strongest candidates.
