Jais Sledder Temporarily Closed for Maintenance
The Jais Sledder, the longest toboggan ride in the region located at Jais Adventure Park in Ras Al Khaimah, has been temporarily closed for maintenance, as reported by Khaleej Times. According to a call center executive, the ride has been non-operational for the past week, and no confirmed reopening date has been provided yet.
While the specific reason for the closure wasn’t disclosed, staff members suggested it could be due to routine maintenance work.

A Popular Attraction
Since its opening in 2022, the Jais Sledder has been a favorite among adventure enthusiasts, offering an adrenaline-pumping ride down the Hajar mountains at speeds of up to 40 km/h. Riders are treated to stunning views of the rugged mountain landscapes and coastline during the descent.
The ride is one of the eight attractions at Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest mountain, where visitors can also experience activities like hiking and the world’s longest zipline.

Tickets for the Jais Sledder were priced at Dh50 for adults and Dh65 for an adult with a child.
A recent advisory on the park’s website confirmed the closure, stating, “Please note that the Jais Sledder is currently closed, and we thank you for your understanding and patience.” The ride’s Google listing has also been marked as “temporarily closed.”
Visitors to the Jais Adventure Park will have to wait until the ride reopens to enjoy the thrilling experience.
