ASI Martyred, Constable Injured in Armed Attack Near Faizabad
Islamabad – A tragic incident occurred near Faizabad on Monday, where Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sudheer Abbasi embraced martyrdom, and Constable Jafar sustained injuries after unidentified gunmen opened fire on law enforcement officials.
According to initial reports, police personnel from the Industrial Area Police Station arrived swiftly at the scene following the targeted attack. The injured constable was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.
The assailants managed to escape the scene after the attack. In response, police have launched a search operation to track down and apprehend the culprits behind the assault.
Authorities have vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice and enhance security measures in the area.
