PM Shehbaz Sharif Heads NSC meeting

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is heading the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting.

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, and military chiefs are also present at the meeting, which is taking place in the PM House. The NSC had been called in by PM Shehbaz due to Pakistan’s present security crisis.

According to The News, an integrated strategy against terrorism would be developed, and ISI Director General Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum will inform the audience on the recent terror wave in Pakistan and the Pak-Afghan border situation.

General Asim Munir, the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), visited PM Shehbaz at the PM and briefed him on business and national security issues, according to a statement from the PM Office’s Media Wing.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
