Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached Tianjin to attend the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, where he was warmly welcomed by Chinese officials.
The visit, running from August 30 to September 4, includes meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to enhance Pakistan-China bilateral ties.
PM Shehbaz will also attend a military parade in Beijing marking the 80th anniversary of China’s role in the Global Anti-Fascist War.
Alongside summit activities, he is scheduled to meet leading Chinese business figures to discuss trade, investment, and economic opportunities, while reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, connectivity, and development.
