PM Shehbaz and Iranian President jointly inaugurates Mand-Pishin border market

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi jointly inaugurated the Mand-Pishin border sustenance market, which aims to boost bilateral trade.

This is one of six border markets that will be built along the Pakistan-Iran common border.

The border will be a thriving platform for increasing cross-border trade, fostering economic growth, and creating new opportunities for local businesses.

The two leaders also planted a sapling on the premises of the border market as a gesture to move the bilateral relationship forward.

The event was attended by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Power Minister Khurram Dastagir, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, and senior officials from Pakistan and Iran.

According to the Foreign Office, “the joint inauguration is a manifestation of Pakistan and Iran’s strong commitment to uplift the welfare of residents of the neighbouring provinces of Balochistan and Sistan-Baluchestan, respectively.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
