The two leaders also planted a sapling on the premises of the border market as a gesture to move the bilateral relationship forward.
The event was attended by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Power Minister Khurram Dastagir, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, and senior officials from Pakistan and Iran.
According to the Foreign Office, “the joint inauguration is a manifestation of Pakistan and Iran’s strong commitment to uplift the welfare of residents of the neighbouring provinces of Balochistan and Sistan-Baluchestan, respectively.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
