Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif hosted a luncheon to honor Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team following their historic Asia Cup win.
The team defeated India in the final, earning praise for their skill and determination. Cash rewards were announced to recognize their achievement.
Addressing the young players, PM Shahbaz Sharif said, “You have made history by defeating India. We hope you continue to bring pride to Pakistan.”

He also extended best wishes to the team for the upcoming Under-19 World Cup next month. PM Shahbaz Sharif acknowledged the role of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), coaching staff, and support personnel, noting that the victory was a result of dedication and hard work.
