LAHORE – The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) has revised its service charges for the fiscal year 2025–26. The updated fees apply immediately and are introduced under the PLRA Act 2017.
The new structure is designed to improve service delivery, ensure transparency, and support the authority’s digital operations. The changes affect key services like Fard, mutation, and property registration across Punjab.
According to PLRA, expedited services for Fard, mutation, and Girdawari will now cost PKR 3,500. The standard service via the HSMS platform is priced at PKR 800. Meanwhile, obtaining a registered deed copy will cost PKR 1,300.
The fee for verifying certified copies is PKR 900 for individuals and PKR 600 for banks and agencies. Alteration services have been set at PKR 9,700, while mutation through banks or other channels will now cost PKR 1,100.
For property transfers in cooperative or development authority areas, the charge is PKR 2,500. E-registration appointments for commission require a fee of PKR 6,100.
Approved housing societies will pay a one-time registration fee of PKR 5,000 per property. HSMS transactions now cost PKR 3,000.
A 0.1% fee of the property value will apply to sale or purchase transactions done through the e-registration portal, with a minimum fee of PKR 3,300. All other related transactions will also incur a PKR 3,300 fee.
It’s important to note that these PLRA service charges do not include official government taxes or duties. The updates were approved by the Director General and Secretary Board of PLRA.
The board has also approved a 10% salary increase for PLRA employees and new measures aimed at assisting overseas Pakistanis through USD-based service fees.
PLRA continues to digitize its operations with platforms like HSMS and e-registration to make property dealings faster and more accessible for the public.
