Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully concluded its post-Hajj flight operation, bringing back over 41,500 pilgrims safely to Pakistan. The operation lasted from June 10 to July 10, 2025, and included 147 special return flights.
PIA used its Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 aircraft for the operation. The airline maintained a strong on-time departure rate of over 90 percent, ensuring smooth and timely travel for the pilgrims. This marks one of PIA’s most efficient Hajj operations in recent years.
Pilgrims were transported from Saudi Arabian cities of Jeddah and Madinah to several major cities in Pakistan. These cities included Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta, Multan, and Peshawar. The final flight landed in Islamabad on the evening of July 10 at 8:30 PM.
A spokesperson for PIA highlighted the success of the month-long operation. The airline’s teams worked diligently to manage the large number of passengers with care and professionalism. Pilgrims also expressed satisfaction with the services and support provided during their return journey.
