PIA Provides 20% Discount For Pakistani Students Traveling To China For Studies

In a noteworthy development, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced a generous 20% discount on airfares for Pakistani students heading to China for their education. This admirable initiative by PIA serves as a beacon of support for students facing financial challenges while pursuing academic goals abroad.

According to PIA officials, this exclusive discount is designed specifically for students traveling to China for higher education. Additionally, the national carrier has increased the baggage allowance to a generous 60 kilograms, making it easier for students to transport their belongings.

Currently, PIA operates a weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route, offering essential connectivity every Sunday. This discounted fare provides a timely opportunity for students to either visit their families during the summer break or return home after completing their studies.

Before this announcement, PIA had already set a high standard by offering a 27% discount on fares for students traveling to China. Furthermore, the airline had demonstrated its goodwill by reducing economy and executive economy class fares by 20% on domestic flights during Eid ul Fitr.
