Additionally, PIA will resume services between Faisalabad and Jeddah, as well as Faisalabad and Medina, facilitating pilgrims traveling to the holy kingdom.
It’s worth noting that the government has decided to privatize the national carrier, with preparations already underway. This decision was made during the previous caretaker regime and a consultant has been hired to oversee the process. The current government aims to complete the privatization process by June, though there may be some delays.
Furthermore, the government has also opted to outsource three airports: Allama Iqbal International Airport, Jinnah International Airport Karachi, and Islamabad International Airport. The outsourcing process for Islamabad International Airport is already in progress, with plans to outsource the facility for a duration of 15 years.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
