The incident happened earlier this month when a car carrying two PIA air hostesses on a post-Hajj flight collided with another vehicle in the airport’s parking lot in Lahore. Both flight attendants received injuries and were taken by ambulances right away to the hospital.
In a matter of five days, this was the second collision involving a PIA personnel car. Another accident happened while another automobile was transporting flight attendants from Lahore to Sialkot.

The air hostesses sustained serious injuries despite the airbags in the car deploying.
Regrettably, while receiving care at a private hospital in Lahore, one of the injured flight attendants passed away.
The general secretary of People’s Unity, Rana Kashif, expressed his concerns and hinted at possible protests if those in charge of the incidents were not brought to justice. He emphasised the PIA administration’s incompetence, which he claimed was to blame for multiple incidents involving airline vehicles.
The People’s Unity of PIA Employees CBA has called for demonstrations at airports across the nation in response to the issue.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
