High-Speed Diesel (HSD) and Petrol (Motor Spirit) prices in Pakistan may increase by Rs. 27/liter and Rs. 21/liter, respectively, amid ongoing regional tensions, according to Arif Habib Limited.
Domestic fuel prices are expected to see another hike as global crude oil prices rise due to the Israel-Iran conflict.

If implemented, petrol could be priced at Rs. 279-280 per liter, while HSD may reach Rs. 289-290 per liter from July 1, 2025.
Since June 13, 2025, international prices of Gas Oil and Gasoline have climbed by 9.6% and 4.5%, hitting USD 93.3/bbl and USD 83.4/bbl as of June 20, 2025.
If this upward trend continues, significant increases in local fuel prices are expected.
Earlier, on June 15, the federal government had already raised petrol and diesel prices by Rs. 4.80 and Rs. 7.95 per liter, respectively, for the last fortnight of FY 2024-25.
