LAHORE – In the 14th clash of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Peshawar Zalmi clinched a dominant 7-wicket win over Lahore Qalandars at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Chasing a modest target of 130 runs, Peshawar Zalmi wrapped up the game comfortably in the 17th over, losing just three wickets. Captain Babar Azam led from the front with an unbeaten knock of 56, while Hussain Talat also remained not out, contributing a solid 51 runs to the chase.
Earlier in the day, Zalmi won the toss and opted to field first. Lahore Qalandars struggled with the bat, managing only 129 runs before being bowled out in the final over.

Lahore’s top-order collapse was evident during the powerplay, with half the side back in the pavilion early. Fakhar Zaman (10), Sam Billings (9), Asif Ali (5), Daryl Mitchell (2), and Abdullah Shafique (0) failed to make an impact.
Sikandar Raza was the standout performer for Lahore, anchoring the innings with a quickfire 52 off 30 balls. He formed vital lower-order partnerships—first with Shaheen Afridi (16), followed by Rashid Khan (13), Haris Rauf (10), and finally a crucial 25-run stand with Asif Afridi—that helped Lahore reach a somewhat competitive total.
In the bowling department, Peshawar Zalmi’s Alzarri Joseph was exceptional, grabbing 3 wickets. Luke Wood and Hussain Talat picked up 2 wickets each, while Arif Yaqoob and Ali Raza chipped in with one wicket apiece.
