The interruption in electricity supply is scheduled due to maintenance work being carried out in Peshawar, specifically at Rahman Baba, Kohat Road, and City Grid Station. The power outage is set to begin today and continue until July 17th, from 7 am to 12 pm daily.
The impact of this maintenance work will be felt by residents in several areas, including Hazarkhwani, Yakatoot, Chamkani, and Sherifabad, who will remain deprived of electricity during this period. Additionally, consumers in Nauthia, Bana Marhi, Kohat Road, Soul Quarter, Hashtangri, Gulbahar, Radio Pakistan, Nishtarabad, and Armar will also be affected.

PESCO assures the public that once the maintenance work is completed, the provision of electricity will resume during the specified hours. However, the announcement has raised concerns among the public, who are already grappling with scheduled and unscheduled electricity load shedding. With the added power outage due to maintenance work, residents are expressing their distress, particularly considering the tormenting hot weather conditions.
