Fans Can Expect High-Tech Broadcasts in PSL 11, PCB Confirms

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a series of technological and editorial upgrades for the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11). These improvements aim to deliver a more immersive and detailed viewing experience for fans.

Matches this season will be captured using more than 30 cameras. This setup allows multiple viewing angles and deeper coverage for audiences watching from home, providing a closer look at all the action on the field.

A major highlight of PSL 11 is the enhanced Urdu broadcast. Described as the most comprehensive in the league’s history, it will feature dedicated camera setups, extended replays, in-depth studio analysis, and expanded match highlights tailored for local viewers.

On the technology front, the PCB has integrated Hawk-Eye with full Decision Review System (DRS) capabilities. This includes advanced features like off-bat visualisation and biomechanics, offering fans greater insight into key decisions and player movements.

Additional enhancements include augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) graphics, along with a live player tracking system. These tools will create a more engaging and interactive experience for viewers.

The Spidercam will also return with its “Parvaz” feature, providing dynamic aerial shots and unique perspectives throughout the tournament. These camera angles aim to give audiences a better sense of field positions and player movements.

According to the PCB, these upgrades are designed to match top-tier global cricket broadcasts. The board aims to elevate production quality, enhance fan engagement, and ensure that PSL 11 offers a world-class viewing experience.
