The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a show-cause notice to Fakhar Zaman following his tweet about Babar Azam’s exclusion from the team.
Zaman had openly criticized the selection committee’s decision to drop Babar Azam for the second and third Test matches against England, expressing his disappointment on the social media platform X.

In his post, Fakhar compared Babar’s situation to India’s decision not to drop Virat Kohli despite his poor form from 2020 to 2023. He has been given seven days to provide an explanation for his statement.
