According to media sources, Najam Sethi said that given the long-standing relationship between cricket and the UAE, the cricket body has no objections to players taking part.
Last year, despite several notable players being given the leadership, then PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja refused to give players a NOC to play in the league.

To release centrally contracted players from the International League T20, Ramiz Raja has asked the Emirates Cricket Board for compensation.
Franchises have offered top cricketers like Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan a staggering USD 900,000 coupled with a three-year leadership deal.
Azam Khan was selected by the Desert Vipers, but he did not acquire the NOC from the cricket board. Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Hasnain were also on the league’s radar.
It is important to note that the Gulf Giants won the league’s debut season, which took place in January of this year in the United Arab Emirates.
The cricket board wanted Hasnain to compete in the National Cup, thus the PCB declined to provide him a NOC for the third season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
