A passenger aircraft with nearly 130 people on board reportedly crashed at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Wednesday, raising fears of possible casualties.
Thick plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the Adani Group–operated facility after the plane hit the airport’s boundary wall. Initial reports suggest around 133 passengers were onboard. Rescue teams and firefighters have been rushed to the scene, though official figures on injuries or fatalities are still awaited.
