Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has condemned sections of the Indian media for spreading fake news and inciting fear among the public amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan. In a statement shared on her Instagram story, Chopra expressed concern over the dangerous impact of misinformation during such sensitive times, urging media houses to act responsibly.
“The most harmful thing right now is the spread of unverified and misleading information,” she said, stressing that it creates unnecessary fear and uncertainty. Chopra called on citizens to rely only on official sources and asked journalists to report with accuracy and accountability.
