It was India that attacked Pakistan without any proof. Some Indian Jets were downed by our Air Force but the Indians did manage to bomb our cities and kill dozens of innocent civilians – A horrible atrocity. However, the downing of Indian jets doesn’t count as retaliation. If Pakistan doesn’t retaliate, it means that we have given India a “new normal”, a license to bomb our cities/people whenever it deems politically convenient. The foundation of our national security is deterrence, which can only be achieved through proportionate retaliation. So, if the gov decides to not pursue retaliation, this crisis will count as a strategic defeat for Pakistan (not to mention the IWT unilateral abrogation).
Tyrants and fascists understand only strength and weakness. If we show the former, we might deter them, But if we show weakness, we will surely encourage them. And next time, India will again use this false-flag method to hit Pakistan how and when it wants. The so-called international community will never back a country that cant even stand up for itself. India wants to grow up into an Israel while simultaneously turning Pakistan into a Lebanon. Appeasement and restraint are understood as a license to kill by powers of this mindset.

If the gov doesn’t show cowardice and does what needs to be done, the whole nation will stand up behind it. However, if it chooses to bow (that too at a time when PAF has shown what Pakistan can do) down before the fascists, it will be committing a grave crime against Pakistan. The ball is in the gov’s court. They have 2 options:
1) Show Sense of honor, hit India, and earn the trust of the nation.
2) Show cowardice hit India and continue oppressing own people.
If they do the 1st, the dissenters will be the traitors. If they do the 2nd, the gov will be the traitor.
