[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]After a rise of Rs. 450 per tola on Wednesday, the price of gold in Pakistan soared to a new record high.
All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) statistics shows that the price of gold (24 carats) increased by Rs. 450 per tola to Rs. 218,650 and by Rs. 386 to Rs. 187,457 for 10 grammes.
On April 14, the price of gold rose to a previous record high of Rs. 218 600 a tola; however, it then fell in keeping with the trend in the international market before rising once more today.

Today, there were slight advances for the Pakistani rupee (PKR) against the US dollar. The PKR increased by 0.03 percent, rising seven paisas to 283.39 at the closing.
Despite reaching a high of $2,009.32 earlier, spot gold in the international market nudged up 0.1 percent to $1,999.83 per ounce by 14:11 GMT, while US gold futures rose by 0.3 percent to $2,010.00.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
