Pakistani PhD scholar Awais Ahmad has once again made his country proud by being listed among the top 2% of scientists globally in material science and chemistry. This is the first time a Pakistani has earned this distinction while pursuing a PhD, marking Ahmad’s second consecutive year on the list.
In 2021, he received the Young Scientist Award from the Saudi Chemical Society and is now ranked 10th in the AD SCIENTIFIC Index 2023. As Europe’s youngest scientist in the field of chemistry, Ahmad has been invited to speak at over 15 Pakistani universities.

With over 150 publications in high-impact journals, a cumulative impact factor exceeding 1600, and more than seven international books edited, Ahmad currently serves as a Lecturer at the University of Lahore’s Chemistry Department. His achievements have brought him both national and global recognition.
