Pakistani Rupee Rises Against Dollar, Euro, and Pound

The Pakistani Rupee continued its positive trend against the US Dollar on Tuesday, marking the 129th consecutive day of gains. The Rupee closed at 279.15, gaining one paisa against the US Dollar during the session.

Apart from the US Dollar, the Rupee also strengthened against most major currencies. It gained 73 paisas against the Euro (EUR) and 89 paisas against the British Pound (GBP). Additionally, it rose 41 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD). However, the Rupee lost 12 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and saw minor declines against the Saudi Riyal (SAR) and Chinese Yuan (CNY).

The Rupee remained relatively stable against the UAE Dirham (AED), showing resilience in regional currency markets. Analysts say the consistent gains reflect confidence in the Pakistani currency amid global economic uncertainty.

Market experts attribute the Rupee’s stability to steady foreign inflows and improving economic indicators. The consistent strength against the US Dollar highlights market confidence in Pakistan’s financial system.

Traders are closely watching the Rupee’s movement against the Euro, Pound, and Australian Dollar, as fluctuations in these currencies may impact import and export costs. The Rupee’s gains are expected to support importers, help control inflation, and strengthen investor confidence.
