A light aircraft crash near Ras Al Khaimah’s coast claimed the lives of a Pakistani female pilot and a 26-year-old Indian passenger.
Reports indicate the plane, carrying only the pilot and passenger, plunged into the sea near the Ras Al Khaimah capital on Sunday, resulting in both fatalities.

The pilot was identified as a 26-year-old Pakistani woman, while the passenger, Suleiman Al-Majed, was a 26-year-old doctor born to Indian parents settled in the UAE.
Suleiman’s father revealed his son had rented the plane for a leisure flight. The aircraft took off around 2 PM and crashed shortly after near the beach.
The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed the incident and launched an investigation to uncover the cause.
