Pakistan has once again been ranked among the countries with the weakest passports in the Henley Passport Index for the first half of 2025. The country holds the 103rd position, tied with Yemen, with its passport offering visa-free access to only 33 countries.
Countries with weaker passports than Pakistan include Iraq (104th), Syria (105th), and Afghanistan (106th). In contrast, neighboring countries like India (85th), China (60th), Iran (96th), and Saudi Arabia (58th) fare slightly better.

At the top of the index, Singapore boasts the most powerful passport, offering visa-free access to 195 destinations, followed by Japan with 193. Other countries with strong passports, sharing third place with access to 192 destinations, include South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Finland.
