Pakistani Passport Holders Get Easier Access to These Europe Destinations

Pakistani passport holders will find travel easier in 2026 as several European and Europe-adjacent countries introduce e-visas and simplified entry options. These changes reduce traditional visa hurdles and open new opportunities for tourism, business, and cultural travel without lengthy embassy procedures.

While Schengen countries still require standard visas, alternatives such as Albania and Moldova now allow Pakistani travelers to apply online. These destinations offer European-style experiences, historic cities, and cultural attractions without the complexity of in-person visa appointments.

Albania, located in the Balkans, is emerging as an affordable and attractive option for short stays. The country offers Mediterranean beaches, historic towns, scenic mountains, and a growing tourism infrastructure that appeals to budget-conscious travelers.

Moldova, situated in Eastern Europe, also provides simplified e-visa access for Pakistanis. Known for its cultural heritage, vineyards, and old towns, Moldova offers a quieter European experience with fewer crowds and lower travel costs.

Beyond Europe, countries on the continent’s edge, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, continue to welcome Pakistani travelers through online e-visas. Turkey remains popular for its historic landmarks and coastal resorts, while Azerbaijan’s Baku and Georgia’s Tbilisi and Batumi combine European-style cities with natural beauty.

According to the Henley Passport Index 2026, Pakistan ranks joint 98th, with access to 31 destinations visa-free, via visa-on-arrival, or eTA. Experts believe these expanded options offer safer, faster, and more affordable short-term travel opportunities across Europe, Eurasia, and beyond.
