Prime Minister’s Direction for Inquiry

Upon hearing of Bashir’s heroic deeds, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructed the Foreign Office and Ministry of Religious Affairs to launch a comprehensive inquiry into the Mina rescue operation. The Prime Minister expressed a keen interest in understanding the full details of the event and the international recognition it has received. An official letter from SAPM Tariq Fatimi outlined the Prime Minister’s request for a detailed report on the incident.

Pakistani Recognition for Bravery

In addition to the recognition from India, the Pakistani government is also considering honoring Asif Bashir for his extraordinary humanitarian service.
