Pakistani IT professional Mirza Abdullah Tariq has made his mark by winning the Global Hackathon titled Trae AI IDE: Zero Limits. His winning project, Access Jobs, is an AI-powered job recommender platform designed to connect job seekers with the right opportunities using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Tariq achieved first place among 879 teams competing in the Global Hackathon, earning a $3,000 prize. He represented Gujrat, Pakistan, as part of the Pathfinders Team, which also included Aaryab Panta from Nepal, Hammad Zaheer from Pakistan, and Monching Desierto from the Philippines. The team successfully built the innovative platform within just 48 hours, showcasing strong collaboration and technical expertise.

Access Jobs helps users find suitable career opportunities through advanced machine learning and explainable AI. Job seekers can create detailed profiles that include education, experience, and salary expectations. Based on this data, the platform recommends jobs that match their skills and preferences.
The system also allows users to track job applications, monitor interviews, and receive skills assessments to improve employability. Employers can use the same platform to identify qualified candidates more efficiently through AI-driven matching tools.
From a technical standpoint, Access Jobs was built using React 18, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, while the backend uses Django, Django Rest Framework, and Python. The platform’s AI engine employs Novita AI API for resume parsing and integrates custom recommendation algorithms for accuracy.

Currently, Access Jobs is in its demo phase and will officially launch once it secures more funding and support. Tariq’s win at the Global Hackathon highlights Pakistan’s growing presence in the global tech industry and reflects the country’s increasing contribution to AI innovation.
