Pakistani security forces have killed three terrorists who tried to infiltrate the Afghan border, according to the military’s media wing, ISPR. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement reported that the terrorists were detected between Sunday night and Monday morning in the district. The security forces surrounded the infiltrators, engaged them in a firefight, and successfully neutralized them.

Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Afghan Taliban to effectively manage the border and prevent the use of Afghan territory by terrorists targeting Pakistan. ISPR reiterated the commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to securing the borders and combating terrorism. Earlier last week, security forces thwarted an attempt by ten terrorists to breach Bannu Cantonment. The attackers were forced to detonate an explosive-laden vehicle against the cantonment’s perimeter wall.
