Local reports revealed that a 50-year-old doctor allegedly attacked a young man who rejected her marriage proposal, reportedly severing part of his tongue and injuring his eyes. The case gained widespread attention after a viral video showed the injured man in critical condition. SSP Ghotki, Dr. Samiullah Soomro, instructed police to take legal action against the doctor.

In response, the doctor lodged her own complaint, accusing the man of harassment and extortion, claiming he threatened her with personal photos and videos.
