Qamar Zaman calls on the UN to carry out its resolutions on the Kashmir conflict.
Qamar Zaman Kaira, a consultant on Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir affairs, has pleaded with the UN to carry out its resolutions on the Kashmir dispute.He said in a statement on Thursday that the Kashmiri people have made significant sacrifices in order to exercise their right to self-determination.
In reference to the atrocities committed by India in the occupied valley, he claimed that India is trying to change Jammu and Kashmir’s demographics by adopting practises similar to those of Israel. He claimed that the Fourth Geneva Convention and all other international rules are broken by Indian actions.
The advisor urged the international community, especially the UN, to act right once to put an end to Indian state terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, which India has illegally occupied.
