Gas crisis to be worsen as supplier refuses to import LNG cargo

“The gas deficit will skyrocket as imported LNG will fall to 700mmcfd as only five cargoes, at the price of 13.37% of Brent, and 2 cargoes, at 10.2% of Brent under GtG agreements with Qatar, would be available in February. In February, there won’t be any LNG shipment from ENI at a cost of 12.14 percent. And this will make the nation’s gas issue worse.
Top officials in the Petroleum Division are alarmed by the revelation because the nation is already experiencing a severe gas crisis. Domestic consumers have been feeling little to no pressure from the issue in certain major cities.
